Chipmunks/ FU, Penguin
A match made in heaven! FU, Penguin is a book, based on a blog, that I received for Christmas. It is someone, similar to me, who gets pissed off at cute animals, and basically tells them to screw off. It is actually amazing. I also ended up seeing the Chipmunks movie today, which was spectacular. I never expected to enjoy it so much, but I loved every second of it. What made it even better was that the only other person in the theater- aside from m friend Rachel and myself- was a middleish aged bald man sitting by himself. He laughed a lot, and talked to himself about the movie. CREEP! Seeing the movie reminded me of watching the chipmunks as a kid. Not only were the songs cute and adorable, if slightly high pitched, but the re-emergence of the Chipettes was amazing. I am Simon, and I love Jeanette and Elinore, the leaders kind of piss me off.
